"Where I come from it's [not] cornbread and chicken"
A little context
I grew up in a smallish town in Ohio called Mansfield. I went to a small Catholic school where I met my husband, Jakob. I was a sophomore and he was a senior. He went into the Marine Corps in 2015 upon graduation. We were long distance (11 hours) for the next two years. He was stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. In 2017 I graduated high school and went to he University of North Carolina at Wilmington. (No, I did not go to college to be close to Jakob but that's a story for another time.) We were an hour apart for the next three years, minus my 2 months in Costa Rica and his 7 month deployment, both in 2019. In May of 2020 I graduated and in August of 2020 he got out of the Marines. We were married in our home parish on August 16, 2020 and moved to Texas the following month. I got pregnant in September and had Stella on June 6, after an emergency cesarean. Stella spent 11 days in the NICU but is now a happy, healthy baby!
I'm a catholic, conservative, stay at home mom. My three music genres are country, worship, and Taylor Swift. I'm a Grey's Anatomy fanatic but prefer to be outdoors, when I'm not doing housework. That about sums me up.
